MCC Volleyball hits the road on Wednesday for a battle against the Cougars of South Mountain.
The 1-0 (1-0 ACCAC) T-Birds are riding high after their thrilling 3-2 victory over No. 2 Scottsdale in their season opener. The T-Birds forged multiple comebacks and swung the momentum in their favor just at the right time to take home the upset.
South Mountain comes into the contest with a 1-5 record after they played all their opening matches as the OWT - Rockford 2024 Opening Weekend Tournament last weekend.
The Cougars lone victory was a 3-2 barnburner which went the way of SMCC. This match was the only match where South Mountain won a set in their time at the tournament.
