Mesa Cross Country competes in George Young Invite on Saturday

Mesa Cross Country travels to Coolidge, AZ on Saturday morning to compete in the George Young Invite hosted by Central Arizona College.

Men's Cross Country:

The No. 1 Thunderbirds are coming off a runner-up finish at the ACCAC Conference Championships last weekend. Mesa was led by Nick Valle who took third place followed sharply by Jorge Trujillo who took fourth place. MCC would fall just three points of the conference crown as Paradise Valley would take the honors. 

Women's Cross Country:

The No. 2 Lady T-Birds also took second place in the ACCAC Conference Championships last weekend. Led by Lucy Melzer who came in fifth and Katie Munoz who took seventh Mesa fell just short to the Pumas who took the title.
