The Mesa Community College Women's Cross Country team has reclaimed its position as the No. 1 team in the nation in the Week 3 NJCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Coaches' Poll, returning to the top spot after being ranked No. 2 in the previous poll.

The defending national champions continue to set the standard, led by Olivia Baker, who recently earned her fourth ACCAC Runner of the Week honor last week.

Mesa's depth remains a key factor in its success, with strong performances from Kinley Jackson, Lucy Melzer, and Katie Munoz contributing to the Thunderbirds' dominance against NJCAA competition this fall.

The T-Birds will look to carry their momentum into the Region I Championships as they continue their pursuit of back-to-back national titles.
