NO. 1 MESA VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS NO. 4 PIMA TO ADVANCE TO REGION I DII FINAL

Top-seeded Mesa Volleyball handled business in the NJCAA Region I DII Semifinals, sweeping No. 4 Pima 3–0 (25–21, 25–13, 25–17) on Wednesday night at Theo Heap Gymnasium.

Isa Folau led a balanced Mesa attack with 13 kills on .333 hitting. Lindsey Leavitt added nine kills, while Alan Motu posted eight and Graice McArthur contributed seven to round out the T-Birds' efficient offensive performance.

Setter Isabella Jackson ran the offense with 39 assists, and  Brianna Anderson anchored the back row with a match-high 21 digs.

With the win, Mesa advances to the NJCAA Region I DII Championship match. The T-Birds will host No. 3 seed Scottsdale on Friday at 7 PM at Theo Heap Gymnasium.
