Mesa Community College volleyball has reached its highest national ranking in program history, climbing to No. 8 in the NJCAA Division II poll.
The Thunderbirds are off to a dominant start in 2025, sitting at 6–0 in ACCAC play. MCC has had four different players earn ACCAC Player of the Week honors, including libero Brianna Anderson, who was also recognized earlier this season as the NJCAA National Defensive Player of the Week.
The No. 8 ranking marks a new standard for the program, which captured the Region I title in 2024 and advanced to the NJCAA national tournament for the first time since 2017.
