Brianna Anderson named ACCAC DII Defensive Player of the Week

Mesa Community College libero Brianna Anderson has been named the ACCAC Division II Defensive Player of the Week for Week 2 after a standout stretch for the Thunderbirds.

Anderson anchored the back row across six matches, totaling 157 digs (6.83 per set). Her week included 39 digs against nationally ranked Iowa Central Community College and 34 digs against nationally ranked Central Community College.

The sophomore also reached a career milestone, surpassing 1,000 digs in her time at Mesa. This marks her fifth ACCAC Division II Defensive Player of the Week award during her career at Mesa.
