Glendale, AZ - The #1 Glendale Gauchos showed why they are the nations best as they beat the #17 Mesa Thunderbirds in three sets, 25-21, 25-15, 25-21.
Glendale in all three sets jumped out in front and controlled each of the sets throughout. Only during the first set did Mesa take a lead halfway through but Glendale quickly jumped back ahead.
With the loss, Mesa snaps a five match win streak. They will be on the road next week at Pima on Wednesday night then back at home on Friday night against Scottsdale at 7 p.m.
