MALEAH TUCKER BREAKS 21-YEAR-OLD SCHOOL RECORD IN WEIGHT THROW

Mesa Community College standout thrower Maleah Tucker produced one of the most significant performances in program history at the NAU Tune Up, breaking a 21-year-old school record in the Weight Throw with a mark of 18.18 meters.

The previous record of 18.10 meters was set in 2005 by Michelle Amete. Tucker's throw not only eclipsed that long-standing mark but also moved her into the No. 1 ranking nationally in the NJCAA this season.

The record-setting performance solidifies Tucker as one of the top throwers in the country and a leading contender entering the NJCAA Indoor National Championships.
