MCC WOMEN’S TENNIS SWEEPS BACK-TO-BACK ACCAC MATCHES, IMPROVES TO 4-0 IN CONFERENCE

Mesa Community College women's tennis continued its strong run through ACCAC play, earning back-to-back victories over Paradise Valley and Glendale to remain unbeaten in conference action.

The Thunderbirds opened with a dominant 9-0 sweep over Paradise Valley, controlling the match from doubles through singles. Mesa secured all three doubles points before carrying that momentum into singles, where they completed the shutout.

In the second match, MCC followed with a 7-0 win over Glendale, again showcasing depth across the lineup. The T-Birds secured the doubles point and swept singles play to close out the match.

Across both contests, Mesa received key performances throughout the lineup, including strong singles wins from Lucia Madrid-Schleicher, Ava Fragua, Jeslyn Berry, Josephine Shinkle, and Aliana Kelsey, helping secure both conference victories.

With the wins, Mesa improves to 6-7 overall and remains perfect at 4-0 in ACCAC play.
