No. 24 Women's Tennis falls to No. 11 Pratt on Tuesday

No. 24 Mesa Women's Tennis fell to No. 11 Pratt Community College on Tuesday, 6-3.

The Lady T-Birds shook off the cobwebs in their first match in two weeks against the Beavers. Though the T-Birds lost they stood strong against a top 15 team in the country.

Jackelin Almada Lopez had a strong showing as she won her singles contest and her doubles match with partner Mikaela Correa. 

Correa nearly pulled off the victory against her opponent but fell in a tiebreaker, 9-11. Lynn Angulo won her singles match picking up her third singles victory of the season. 

Mesa will have a quick turnaround as they host Ottawa University on Saturday at 9 a.m.
