Bio

Drew Guarneri began his collegiate coaching career by establishing the men’s soccer program at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in 1998, where he coached through the 2006 season. During his tenure, Guarneri’s teams produced three NJCAA All-Americans, four NJCAA All-Academic selections, and earned an NJCAA team award for academic excellence. His coaching excellence was recognized with the ACCAC Men’s Coach of the Year award in 2003 and the ACCAC Women’s Coach of the Year honor in 2004.

In 2008, Guarneri took over both the men’s and women’s soccer programs at Mesa Community College. After leading both teams for five years, he has focused exclusively on the women’s program since 2013.

Beyond his collegiate coaching responsibilities, Guarneri stays active in the local soccer community by coaching both boys’ and girls’ teams at Campo Verde High School, as well as several youth soccer programs.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Drake University in 1993 and completed a master’s degree at Arizona State University in 1996.
