T-Birds and Coyotes Battle to 1-1 Tie

Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds and Chandler-Gilbert Coyotes battled for 110 minutes and finished in a 1-1 tie Tuesday night at John D. Riggs Stadium.

The T-Birds knotched the first goal of the match in the 25th minute, coming off the foot of Kiana Oriero, her fifth goal of the season.  

Chandler-Gilbert tied the match up in the 36th minute, a score that would stand for the remainer of the match.

Mesa is now 5-9-2 on the season and in the ACCAC conference.  The T-Birds will play on the road this Thursday at South Mountain, beginning at 3:30 pm.
