MCC WOMEN’S GOLF WINS CHANDLER-GILBERT COYOTE CLASSIC, EARNS SHARE OF CONFERENCE TITLE
Mesa Community College Women's Golf claimed the team title at the Chandler-Gilbert Coyote Classic, powered by a strong lineup performance that featured four top-six individual finishes.
With the win, the Thunderbirds are co-conference champions, sharing the honor with South Mountain Community College.
Abree Germaine led the way for MCC, placing second overall with rounds of 79-79-158 (+14). Germaine's consistency across both days kept her near the top of the leaderboard.
Elina Beyer followed with a third-place finish at 78-82-160 (+16), while Addison Miller placed fourth with rounds of 80-83-163 (+19). Sara Sawyer added a sixth-place finish, shooting 82-84-166 (+22).
Annalise Kooner rounded out the group, finishing tied for eighth with rounds of 83-93-176 (+32).
MCC's depth proved to be the difference, placing four golfers inside the top six to secure the team title and a share of the conference championship.
