WOMEN'S GOLF RECAP: THUNDERBIRD FALL INVITE

Mesa Community College closed out its fall schedule with a dominant team victory at Dobson Ranch Golf Club at the Thunderbird Fall Invite, taking first place by 32 strokes over the field across the two-day event.
The Thunderbirds posted rounds of 325–331 (656), finishing well ahead of South Mountain (353–335—688) and Paradise Valley (443–401—844).
MCC also controlled the individual leaderboard. Abree Germaine claimed medalist honors at 152 (75–77), followed closely by teammate Sara Sawyer, who took runner-up at 155 (76–79). Elina Beyer added a strong fourth-place finish at 165 (81–84), while Addison Miller placed eighth at 184 (93–91). Annalise Kooner rounded out Mesa's scoring with a 12th-place finish at 195 (101–94).
Mesa now turns its attention to the spring season, where the Thunderbirds will look to build on a commanding fall performance.
