Women's Golf looks to finish strong in final round at NJCAA National Championships on Friday

Mesa Women's Golf finished up round three of the NJCAA DII Women's Golf National Championships in Boone, IA on Thursday.
The Lady T-Birds along with most of the rest of the field had a bumpy day as Mesa shot +51 (339) on the day. MCC still finds themselves firmly in second place out of the 15 teams in the field as the T-Birds lead third place Iowa Central Community College by 30 strokes, but trail leader Shelton State Community College by 36 strokes.
Mackenzie Vongphosy continues to shine as she sits tied for 4th place individually after a +11 (83) third round. Vongphosy is +19 going into the final round on Friday as she trails the leader by just four strokes.
The final round starts at 6:00 a.m. CDT (4:00 a.m. MST) on Friday at Cedar Point Golf Course.
