Mesa, AZ - The Thunderbirds women's basketball team fell to the Arizona Western Lady Matadors Wednesday night, 57-58. More details to follow.
MCC hosted Thunderbird Spirit Night during the game and MCC employee Robert Smith was honored at halftime for his long-time dedication to the men's and women's basketball programs. He was awarded a certificate of appreciation and a framed jersey by MCC President Dr. Tammy Robinson and Athletic Director John Mulhern.
Mesa will host Glendale this Saturday with tipoff scheduled for 4:00 PM.
