Mesa, AZ - Just like it does as in years past, Mesa and Cochise women's basketball is always a battle from beginning to the end. Saturday afternoon's game was no different but for the T-Birds, they just couldn't finish and take the 'W' as they fell, 68-60.
The T-Birds and Apaches split the season series and Mesa defeated the Apaches down in Douglas back in December.
Mesa moves to 16-8 overall and 13-4 in conference play. The T-Birds will play down at Pima next Wednesday night at 5:30 pm then back at home next Saturday afternoon vs Eastern Arizona College at 2 pm.
