Olivia Baker & Cal Schnepf earn ACCAC Runner of the Week honors

Mesa Community College Cross Country earned recognition this week as two Thunderbird runners captured ACCAC weekly honors. Olivia Baker was named Division II Women's Runner of the Week, while Cal Schnepf claimed Division II Men's Runner of the Week following their performances at the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational.

Freshman Olivia Baker has been named the ACCAC Division II Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week following her performance at the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational.

Baker placed 16th overall in the women's 5K with a time of 18:12, the fastest time recorded among all ACCAC Division II runners this week. She led the Thunderbird women, who are the defending NJCAA Division II National Champions.

Sophomore Cal Schnepf has earned ACCAC Division II Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors after his showing at the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational.

Schnepf finished 16th overall in the men's 5K with a time of 15:46, the best among ACCAC Division II runners this week. He was the top finisher for the Mesa men's squad, which placed multiple runners in the top 60 of the field.
