Mesa Cross Country remains a formidable program in the latest USTFCCCA Poll

The USTFCCCA released their 2024 Week 1 Men's & Women's National Coaches' Polls on Wednesday listing Mesa Cross Country as a top program in the country.

Women's Cross Country:

The Lady T-Birds held on to the  No.1 position that they earned in the Preseason Poll two weeks ago. Mesa received 10 first place votes this week. MCC is led by freshman Kinley Jackson so far this season as she has finished 29th in the Lori Fitzgerald Invite and 10th in the Embry Riddle Invite.

Men's Cross Country:

The Thunderbirds fell to the No. 3 position in the Week 1 poll after receiving just two first place votes. Nick Valle has led the T-Birds early in the season with a 30th place finish in the Lori Fitzgerald invite and a 6th place finish in the Embry Riddle Invite.

Mesa will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to California for the UC Riverside Invite.
