THUNDERBIRD TRACK & FIELD SET TO HOST REGION I MULTIS & 10K CHAMPIONSHIPS
Mesa Community College Track & Field will host the NJCAA Region I Multis and 10K Championships on April 20-21, welcoming top athletes from across the regon to campus.
The two-day meet will feature multi-events competition beginning at 3 p.m. on both Monday and Tuesday, including the decathlon and heptathlon. The 10,000-meter races are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Monday, highlighting a full day of competition at the Thunderbirds' home facility.
Mesa enters the championship with momentum across both the men's and women's programs, looking to take advantage of the home track while competing for regional titles and national qualifying marks. The event serves as a key step toward the postseason, with strong performances positioning athletes for advancement to the NJCAA National Championships.
