Men's Tennis takes Region Runner-Up honors

Mesa Men's Tennis takes Region I Runner-Up honors in their 2025 season after defeating Glendale on Tuesday. 

The T-Bird Men take second place in the Region for the second straight season after they won nine straight Region I titles spanning from 2014-2023. Though Mesa was unable to topple Paradise Valley this season or last, they fought very hard against the Pumas in every match and head coach Feroz Rast has seen the fight all season long.

"The men have gotten better each match. Even though we finished runners up I feel we are definitely playing our best going into nationals. Can't wait to see how we do in South Carolina. Very proud of all our Sophomores on this team. Carson, Nicolas, Enrique, Luke, Taylor all pushed us to get better each day." said Rast.

Mesa will have one more regular season match on Saturday against ASU Club before they set their focus on Nationals in Florence, SC in May.
