T-Birds Fly Past Pumas in 5-1 Victory

Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds men's soccer team defeated the Paradise Valley Pumas Tuesday afternoon, 5-1, in front of a partially sold out crowd at Mesa Community College.

Moses Durazo started the scoring for Mesa as Durazo accounted for two of the T-Birds goals.  Along side Durazo, Alec Carroll, Kevin Olivarez and Moises Serda-Sevilla scored the other goals for Mesa.

The Thunderbirds move their record to 4-4-1 on the season.  They will travel to Yuma, AZ, this coming Thursday for a match with the Arizona Western Matadors, beginning at 4:30 pm.
