THUNDERBIRD GOLF SET FOR REGION I CHAMPIONSHIPS ON MONDAY
Mesa Community College Men's and Women's golf will compete at the NJCAA Region I Championships from April 20-23 at Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler, AZ.
The Thunderbirds enter the championship following a strong regular season, highlighted by the women's program earning a share of the ACCAC conference title. Mesa consistently remained among the top teams in the conference throughout the spring, positioning itself for a competitive showing at the regional event.
Both teams will compete over four rounds at Ocotillo, a course known for its challenging layout and water-lined fairways. The tournament will determine Region I champions and national qualifiers, with both team and individual performances carrying postseason implications.
Play begins April 20 and runs through April 23 in Chandler, with Mesa aiming to build on its conference success and secure spots at the NJCAA National Championships.
