EZIAS STEFFEN EARNS ALL-REGION 2ND TEAM HONORS

 Mesa Community College Men's Basketball standout Ezias Steffen has been named to the Region I Division II All-Region Second Team after delivering a productive offensive season for the Thunderbirds.

Steffen averaged 14.3 points per game while shooting 53.2% from the field and 71.6% from the free throw line. He also contributed 3.8 rebounds per game while serving as one of Mesa's primary scoring threats.

The guard recorded 12 games with 15 points or more during the season and consistently provided offensive production for the T-Birds throughout conference play.

Steffen's top performance came on January 24 against Glendale, when he scored a season-high 26 points to lead Mesa offensively.

His scoring efficiency and ability to deliver in key moments helped the Thunderbirds remain competitive throughout the season and earned him recognition as one of the top players in the Region I Division II.
