SBVC Handles Seward on Day Two

Mesa, Ariz. - In the final game of day two, the San Bernardino Valley College Wolverines were able to punch their ticket to the championship as they took down Seward County College, 86-59.
The first half was controlled by SBVC as they took a 40-32 advantage into the locker room and never looked back. The Wolverines outscored the Saints by 19 points in the second half.
SBVC had four players score in double figures as they were led by Armon Muldrew who had 21. Seward County had three players tied for the lead in scoring as Mario Whitley, Deayon James, and Wilson Dubinsky each had 12 for the Saints.
The Saints had a tough time shooting in the contest as they shot 31.6% from the field and 22.7% from deep. The Wolverines were able to shoot with a better margin as they were 43.7% from the field and 36.4% from deep.
With the win, SBVC will take on Salt Lake in the championship, and Seward will battle South Plains for third place.
