Justice College Upsets Snow College on Day Two
Justice College, a last-minute replacement for travel-plagued Central Arizona, pulled off one of the biggest upsets in tournament history by taking down 19th-ranked Snow, 71-64, in the first game of Day 2 at the Mesa Community College Shootout Wednesday.
Trailing by as much as 10 points in the second half, the Lions knocked off the Badgers to advance to the fifth-place contest Thursday.
Ray King led Justice with 23 points on 8-15 shooting, going 7-11 on three-pointers. David Stallworth came off the bench to add 14 and Kam Parsk contributed 13, also in a reserve role.
Snow was paced by Chase Potter with 20 points and Clayton Southwick added 19.
