Sells, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds defeated the Tohono O'odhman Jegos Saturday night, 88-56.

Sindou Diallo led the T-Birds in points with 21, one of five T-Birds to score in double-figures.  Ramon Franklin scored 18 points, Adonis Arms had 16 points, Antwan Ross-Jones had 14 points and Mikel Byers had 10 points.

It was a close game in the first half, with Mesa only holding a three-point lead at halftime, 40-37.  But it was all Mesa in the final 20 minutes, outscoring the Jegos 48-19.

Mesa moves to an 11-11 overall record and 9-6 ACCAC record.  Mesa will be at home on Wednesday against Chandler-Gilbert, a 7:30 pm tip, then they will play at Central Arizona on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm.
