Treylann Sanders Earns WSFL Co-Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Mesa Thunderbirds safety, Treylann Sanders, has earned Western States Football League's week four Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in Saturday's 28-25 upset victory at #9 Arizona Western College.

Sanders recorded four solo tackles but it was his interception returned for a 28 yard touchdown with just 3:39 left in the fourth quarter that helped seal the victory for Mesa.

For Sanders, this is his first WSFL weekly honor while it is now the fourth WSFL weekly honor garnered by the Mesa Thunderbirds this season.
