Thomas MacVittie Earns Week 1 WSFL Offensive Player of the Week Honors

Mesa Thunderbirds quarterback, Thomas MacVittie, has earned Western States Football League Offensive Player of the Week Honors for his performance at Phoenix College in week one of the season.

MacVittie threw for 306 yards with three touchdown passes while also rushing for 54 yards and two touchdowns.  MacVittie led the T-Birds on four of its first five scoring drives of the game while connecting with 10 different receivers to help defeat the Bears, 44-18.

For MacVittie, this is his first WSFL Player of the Week honor and the first WSFL Player of the Week honor for the T-Birds for the 2018 season.
