MESA BASEBALL HELD ANNUAL ALUMNI GAME CELEBRATING PAST AND PRESENT T-BIRDS

The Mesa Community College Baseball program brought generations of Thunderbirds together this past Saturday for its annual Alumni Game, a day filled with memories, stories, and baseball at the MCC Baseball Field. Former players from across multiple eras reunited to celebrate the program's legacy, share old memories, and embrace the bright future of Thunderbird Baseball.

The day was about more than just the game—it was a time for reflection and connection, as alumni paid respect to one another and to the foundation they helped build. The camaraderie between past and present players highlighted the strength of the MCC Baseball family and the pride that continues to run deep through the program.

Among the alumni in attendance were:
Chase Reno ('97–'99), Boo Christianson ('04), Charlie Calmia ('05–'06), Chris Caves ('06–'07), Diego Martinez ('08–'10), Brian Walsh ('08–'10), Derrick Mccawley ('09–'10), Derrick Lone ('09–'10), Clay Hathaway ('10–'11), John Havird ('13–'14), Marios Mylonis ('14), Sean Barrowdale ('16–'17), Conner Denning ('18–'19), Zack Wagner ('18–'21), Josh Leslie ('19–'21), Tyler Johnson ('24–'25), and Javier Rochin ('24–'25).

The annual event once again showcased what makes Mesa Baseball special—a tight-knit community built on hard work, tradition, and lifelong relationships forged through the game.
