Carter Robinson Brings Home More Post-Season Hardware, Earns NJCAA Spalding DII and ABCA/Rawlings DII Pitcher of the Year

Carter Robinson is going to need more shelf space as the 6'8" right-hander has earned a few more post-season awards for his 2019 pitching performance.

Along with earning NJCAA DII 1st Team All-American honors, Robinson earned the top billing as the NJCAA Spalding DII Pitcher of the Year.  Throughout his 2019 campaign, no DII pitcher was more dominate than Robinson, throwing seven complete games with three shutouts, tossing 112 total innings, which was the most in the NJCAA this season.  He threw a second-best 126 strikeouts, which was 10.13 strikeouts per nine innings.

The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) in partnership with Rawlings has also crowned the University of Louisana Lafayette commit as the 2019 DII Pitcher of the Year as well as a DII All-American.  Both announcements from the NJCAA and ABCA/Rawlings came on Monday morning.
