THUNDERBIRD ATHLETICS WISHES GOOD LUCK TO MCC HALL OF FAMER MIKE BROWN IN THE NBA FINALS

Mesa Community College Athletics would like to wish former Thunderbird men's basketball student-athlete and Hall of Famer Mike Brown the best of luck as he leads the New York Knicks into the NBA Finals beginning Wednesday.

Brown played for Mesa Community College from 1988-90 before embarking on a coaching career that has become very successful in professional basketball. During his distinguished NBA coaching career, Brown has earned multiple Coach of the Year honors, including being named the NBA Coach of the Year for the 2022-23 season.

In recognition of his outstanding accomplishments and impact on the game of basketball, Brown was inducted into the Mesa Community College Hall of Fame in 2022.

As the Knicks prepare to compete on basketball's biggest stage, the entire Thunderbird community proudly celebrates one of its own and wishes Coach Brown continued success in the NBA Finals.
