Mykah Anderson named to All-American 2nd team

MCC sophomore guard, Mykah Anderson was honored with a selection to the 2022-23 NJCAA DII All-American 2nd team on Tuesday.

Anderson was a pivotal piece to the Lady T-Birds this season as she averaged 13.1 points per game while shooting 41% from the field. She also averaged 5.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.

To cap off her sophomore season Anderson was named the ACCAC DII Player of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year. Anderson was also selected to the ACCAC 2nd team, and the All-Region I, DII 1st team.

Anderson is the sixth Lady T-Bird to be named Player of the Year, and the first to be named Defensive Player of the Year in the history of the program.
