Men's golf places second at Paradise Valley Invitational

  Scottsdale, AZ – In the final tune-up before the Region I championships the sixth-ranked men's golf team placed second to South Mountain at the Paradise Valley Invitational.

  MCC shot a 290-291—581 while the Coyotes closed at 280-286—566. Pima finished third at 296-294—589 with Eastern Arizona fourth at 296-302—598.

  For the T-Birds, Ryan Porter led the way, tying for fourth with a two-under-par 70-72—142.

Jake Guess placed ninth, carding an even-par 71-73—144, while Austin Hardman was 12th with a 74-73—147 and Zane Smith tied for 13th place recording a 75-73—148.

  The regional championship begins April 26 at the Gold Canyon G.C. Sidewinder course and lasts for four days.
